StoneMask Cowboy

Tacitus during his early years worked hard to make a sinister and bloody name for himself. Adorning a stone mask - he did a series of crimes with said visor. No one knows ‘his face’ but they DO know the mask. ‘The Stonemask Cowboy’ he’d got this name after stealing a farmer's entire flock of cows on the back of a chocobo -- his first real heist that would lead into more daring jobs for years to come afterwards. The stone mask is said to be an Ill-Omen. Once on, Tacitus has a bit of a personality shift, where he becomes an absurd mad man. To him, this is what he considers his ‘true face’.[ Please note - if you wish to identify him as Stonemask for the potential bounty, you must roll over 17 successful - upon doing so - you can make out his true identity. However, with each RP session we do, the dice roll passing number decreased by -1 each time. ]
Mr.Moon

Tacitus -- despite his criminal activities as Stone Mask - he himself is known to the public as a rich philanthropist who seems to have an Anti Crime narrative. Using his charity funds to give to the poor and the like. These are legitimate despite the evil he does on the outside. The true nature behind it all that, he is indeed poisoning the communities that he so ‘ desperately’ wants to help. He uses his company Kagemaru Expo as a means to make all of his money legally, but the company also doubles as the main primary source of shipping out of his Somnus product to various places.
History

Tacitus Moon -- once known as Rehw-Gilda during his warder days. Is a known criminal, and relishes in the thought of being perceived as such. Despite this, he's a bit of a romantic, supposedly looking for the "One whom may truly challenge him." Daring to marry whomever that may be. But this, being a double-edged sword due to the fact he sees no one as his equal. All due to his enormous ego that gets brought into check again and again.Having a hard time taking tougher things seriously he seems like a callous bastard & in a lot of ways he is one. Told by his master and brother on a daily basis during his younger years - his Wood-Warder skills were always lacking. Despite this he is an excellent tracker and has a keen sense of smell and hearing. With a foundation of the martial arts embedded deep within from the very early stages of his life -- to then taking the mantle of using a Gunblade. How could a Viera be taught the ways of the monk from where he’s from you may wonder. The crook's old master was once trained by a passing Highlander, coming from Gry Albania. He’d been a monk and exchanged for his master being his guide through the jungles of Golmore - The monk taught the old warder the way of the fist. When Tacitus and his brother Djt-Gilda -- later on known as Kiladus -- were brought forth by their master to train. He used his monk training to teach the young men the foundations of combat and the ways of life, in addition to teaching them their traditions as protectors of the jungles. Kiladus took the teachings to heart, letting it shape him as a man. While Tacitus used these very teachings to solidify his disdain for it and things that were close to it, in representation.Tacitus, unlike his brother, rejected and hated his way of life as a Warder. He hated that he didn't have a choice, stuck to the traditions to fight for jungles and villages that only allow him entry to breed. By his fourth child, Tacitus started to help various groups break into villages in attempts to raid for a large profit of gil. After years of this, he’d finally been confronted by his masters -- however by then. Tacitus made plans to leave the jungles before he could be apprehended for his crimes. Kiladus left soon after him, making a promise to find his brother and take him in for his crimes.Years passed and soon enough Tacitus built a career as a criminal. His brother found him after several years, where they fought to a brutal standstill in the lands of Othard where they’d defeated each other. Found beaten and battered by a Hrothgar - he nursed them both back to health but only said he’d do so if they promised to put their feud aside so he could impart the knowledge of the gunblade to them, in his style. Begrudgingly they’d both agreed where they both learned the ways of the gunblade - and various other detective like skills that were applied to any mercenary job. After two years under the beastman’s tutelage they’d finally part ways, Kiladus telling him if he saw him again. He’d kill him. Tacitus acknowledged this and welcomed the challenge from his younger brother.
Thrifty-five years later. And Tacitus after building a career around being a criminal investigator -- doing jobs for various crime bosses while he’d sell small quantities of Somnus on the side. He'd built a rather lucrative way of life for himself. Despite how dishonorable it'd been.It was around this time that he’d found out about his brother's death. Rushing to the lands of Ishgard, it was there he’d found his body ripped asunder. He’d lost a battle with a rogue group of men and was found dead in the cold.Burning his brother's ashes he buried him in the jungles of their homelands, risking possible death to bring him home despite the crimes he’d done.It wasn’t long after this that Tacitus would take over his brother's old home in Shirogane where he’d operated as a Private eye. Tacitus immediately turned this space into a thieves' den, getting into the likes of business with various criminals now that he’d been in the area. Doing various assassinations and other large shipments of his Somnus product which he’d gone fulltime in selling now.The faction he’d attempted to build collapsed on itself, and he was forced to work alone again. It wasn't long before an old associate of his known as Jugo would reach out to the crook during one of days of rest in Ishgard. With the giant roe man came a plan. A plan involving a planned heist. The targeted place supposedly carrying a treasure trove of various things - and in addition to that it'd held a deed to an actual island. With not much left to lose, Tacitus & Jugo set off at Stealing it. It was a hard job but they'd gotten it done. It wasn't much longer after this that he'd taken the identiy as Mr. Moon.

There is no shortage of times that Tacitus has seen the down sided end of luck. Loss after loss forced him into finding a solution. in addition to that, he'd grown quite the addiction to getting his Aether manipulated by creatures that shouldn't of done so. Gripped in this need to be further consumed and to understand such creatures -- he went out of his way to see how far his curiosity would take him. This led him into the hands of a creature of dark origin that damn near sapped his Aether into nothing. Forced to seek help due to in imbalanced Aether and drug out Aether sickness he'd been crippled with. He had no other choice but to seek out a doctor within his company's employment, a doctor of ill-foreboding methods. After hours and hours of experimentation she'd managed to use her strange technology to realign his Aether by force the best she could. However, doing so meant using the extract of a creature not of his world. Upon doing so, Tacitus slept for several hours until he'd awoken with snow white eyes and the strength of fifty men. And a hunger to match... he's always needing to eat food now. He mostly uses his Somnus to suppress such hunger -- its gotten to the point that he's thought of consuming others... a struggle he now has to deal with in exchange for his freakish strength.
The Enhanced
Tacitus has coined this procedure and what its done to him as 'Enhanced' -- to avoid the general term of being associated with the void-touched. His bodies Aether has been completely replaced by a being not of this world despite having a fully mortal body. Thus giving him an 'Enhanced' form.

Powers
Strength: Tacitus has strength well beyond what others of his species are capable of. Able to lift things up to thousands of pounds. And crush bone with a few flicks of his fingers. Despite this, he hides this and would never show it -- unless forced or backed into a corner.[[ If something is insanely large, I have to roll the dice -- if I get over a 8 out of a 20 die -- then I'm able to do said feat of strength. ]]Aether Sense: Able to sense Aether in others though this is his weakest power and thus has the most lack of control in terms of it.[[ With dice rolls of 12 or higher out of 20 - he can sense out one's aether. Able to determine even its nature -- upon getting a successful dice roll - if agreed upon you can then describe the nature of your aether. ]]Incubus Allure: Able to seduce beings due to an assortment of things that altered his body after the procedure. Listed below are an assortment of said abilities that he's learned to master.- Aphrodisiac fluid: All of the fluids in his body give him the ability to entice great forces of pleasure onto the user. He can even use it to daze and place people in a trance. However, some can resist this strange power though it is entirely at random. He himself can never know when someone can resist his strange power.[[ Mostly accompanied with a dice roll of 8 or higher - if consumed the consumer will get immensely aroused -- tossed into a euphoric state of pleasure akin to taking a drug. ]]- Eyes of the tantalizing gaze: Snow white eyes - he can use them to place people in a hypnotic trance - with a dice roll of yours against mine - can place you into a trance -- where you are hypnotized -- able to do one task of his choosing without faulter.
The Drawbacks
The consumption: Tacitus has a unyielding need to consume - and not just ones aether. But there entire being. He sometimes has his men bring in various people into his lair to consume. Usually his enemies - but he has known to reel in an innocent person here and there. They have to be alive when he consumes them, eating the meal cooked - has already deprived his hunt of its best parts. Upon consuming the person or thing while alive -- devouring their mass -- then he gets what his new body needs for nurturementNot doing this however, will force Tacitus hair to go white again. And despite it doubling all of his abilities he becomes rabid and feral. Wanting to tear people apart by a drop of a hat. His body will also be in constant agonizing pain which further fuels his primal rage. Waiting to long to consume -- and he's theorized that he could die.
